Primary Years Programme (PYP)
At Raha International School Khalifa City Campus, we offer an academically rigorous and holistic education aimed at fostering independent learners and global citizens.
Our curriculum is grounded in the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme (PYP). The PYP is a global curriculum focused on the all-round development of children, catering to their social, physical, emotional, cultural, and academic growth. We offer the PYP starting from the age of 3.
Arabic in the Early Years
- While Arabic, Islamic, and Social Studies are not mandatory for students in Minis, Early Years 1 and Early Years 2, we begin offering Arabic from these early stages.
- Islamic and Social Studies commence from Grade 1.
- In Minis and Early Years 1, there is one combined Arabic class per week for both native and non-native speakers.
- In Early Years 2, native Arabic speakers will have three Arabic classes weekly, whereas non-native speakers will have one class per week.
